Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. The producer was also, costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. Although she usually led from within her acting ensemble but in the final year with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer. She's appeared on several other series apart from acting. As a child her family lived at Walnut Creek with her siblings and the poet Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been Post's husband since 1982. They have two daughters. Post has inspired many Hollywood actors because she is both a fantastic actress and an ideal mother and wife.
